Christian Vision and Values

As a Church of England school, our Vision has a sound theological underpinning: John 10:10 from the New Testament which teaches us to experience 'life in all its fullness'.

At Mangotsfield Church of England Primary School, we wish our learners to feel abundantly alive - to appreciate the joy and love of our wonderful community and to understand that to experience a full life doesn't mean our paths of happiness will always be uninterrupted. We seek to teach our learners that even when things go wrong, when we experience sadness or failure, there is comfort to be sought from the riches of God's grace and an appreciation that God has a plan for us all.

Through this teaching of aspects of the Christian faith we explore how these teachings also link with key ideas from other faiths, promoting inclusivity and a sense of belonging for all learners.
